This is the Muslim swimming costume that the French have banned from their public pools. The woman, pictured to the right, claims that it is racism and, if she isn't allowed to wear it, she will leave the Country (That's got the French worried). I cannot see our Government banning it so you had better be prepared to share your dip with a mass of flotsam.

I’m afraid our Government’s appeasement of this archaic religion continues unabated, it is fortunate that more and more people are starting to say enough is enough. It always appears to me that the more you give them the more they push for a bit more; testing, if you like, to see what they can and cannot get away with.
France is becoming the only Country willing to stand up to this tide of Islamic insistence, banning the burka, the headscarf and now this swimsuit. Unfortunately I cannot see Gormless Gordon and his clueless cult having the balls to follow suit.

The Lancaster blog has been inundated with climate change denial comments, so I thought it time to put the record straight. And as I'm sure this your blog has more readers than my Lancaster site, I thought I'd leave my response here as well.
This is what the British Met Office has to say on the subject.

Now who do you prefer to believe the experts or some fake online petition (by the way, most of the names on that petition are either fake or put their by other people).
Why do some scientists deny global warming? The answer is simple: money from the big oil companies.

Swimmers are told to wear burkinis
British swimming pools are imposing Muslim dress codes in a move described as divisive by Labour MPs.
UK councils running restricted swimming session for Muslims Under the rules, swimmers – including non-Muslims – are barred from entering the pool in normal swimming attire.
Instead they are told that they must comply with the "modest" code of dress required by Islamic custom, with women covered from the neck to the ankles and men, who swim separately, covered from the navel to the knees.

Preacher threatened with arrest for reading out extracts from the Bible in public
A street preacher is at the centre of a row over freedom of speech after police threatened to arrest him for reading the Bible in public.

Andrea Minichiello Williams, the director of the Christian Legal Centre, has written to Peter Fahy, the Chief Constable of Greater Manchester, over the incident.
