Thank you for your comment; the reality be...Arthur,
Thank you for your comment; the reality behind this story is the lies and deceit that the Council are prepared to go to, not only do they waste our money, as you pointed out, but they do not care who they have to stand on to achieve their goals.John Oddyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17633025033009716455noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1597212839826054842.post-12515417014703473172009-10-28T21:03:36.040+00:002009-10-28T21:03:36.040+00:00I am the local buyer mentioned in this article and...I am the local buyer mentioned in this article and the only thing missing from this story is that prior to the council offering £70,000 I was informed by Nigel Crabtree of Stirling Estate agents that the council had offered £119,000. It was then that I complained to them about gazumping me by £59,000 of taxpayers money. They then reduced their bid on the information I gave them to £70,000. If this is how the council run their affairs we all have a duty to vet them more thoroughly before we vote for them. We need more people like Cllr Oddy to clean up the secrecy in the system. They seem to be using your rates for what suits them rather than what is in the interest of the people of Colwyn Bay.

The sealed bid process has now finished and although I haven't received the outcome I am confident if nothing else I will have saved the council thousands of pounds from their original bid.Mr A S Jonesnoreply@blogger.com
